New Sigur Ros song to post today. It's from the upcoming album Hvarf-Heim, which is a double-CD compilation that contains studio recorded versions of previously unreleased songs, as well as acoustic versions of others. It is released on November 6th in North America (and the day before in Europe) and will be preceded by a 7" vinyl of the first single Hijomiland on October 22.
Hijomiland is unmistakeably Sigur Ros. Its grand. Its epic. Its distinctively Icelandic. And its a remarkable piece of music.
